Sweet Potato Purée


8-10 pouches

You will need

  • 500g  sweet potatoes

To make

  1. Wash the sweet potatoes under cold running water, then peel.
  2. Put them in a saucepan and cover with freshly boiled, filtered water. Bring to the boil, cover, then lower the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until tender.
  3. Remove from the cooking liquid. mash the flesh with a fork and press through a sieve. Allow the mixture to cool. Add some of the cooking water to soften the puree
  4. Fill pouches
