Apple purée

Really easy!

You will need

  • 1kg of apples, cored, peeled and chopped
  • Pinch of Cinammon


To make

1. Wash the apples under cold running water ; quarter, peel and core them. Put all the prepared apples into a saucepan and cover with freshly boiled, filtered water. Bring to the boil, cover, then lower the heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until tender. Add the cinammon for flavour.
2. Remove from the cooking liquid and purée to a smooth texture in a blender or food processor, using some of the cooking liquid to get the right consistency. Allow the mixture to cool.
3. Fill pouches
